Seven Days, Seven Truths

Seven Days, Seven Truths

While I haven’t been a ‘regular’ writer here, when I get the urge to put some words down I like to make them count. So, for the next seven days I will be putting up a post a day, each with the specific aim to explore beyond surface value, coffee table conversation.

Truth, what is truth?
While there are many lengthy & wordy explanations of the meaning of the word, let me cut through the theoretical dung heap and simply state my view. Truth is, in it’s simplest form, the outcome of simple logical cause and effect.
A small example would be – it looks like an apple, it tastes like an apple, so it’s an apple. A slightly longer example would say, everyone has an equal right to be alive, some people take the lives of others, these people are doing wrong.
So in other words – this seven day series could also be called “Seven Days, Seven times when I state the bloody obvious”. But that’s not as catchy!

For the next week, I’ll be looking at some important topics that every human being should think about. I don’t claim to be a philosopher or great mind of (any) age, but I do hope to provoke some internal wrangling for every person that reads these posts.

Without giving too much away, I’ll give you Mondays topic – “Wait a minute, did we just go full on Borg?”.
Yeah, it’s a Star Trek reference, but don’t let that put you off!

Mondays post will be of particular interest to anyone that has the inner niggle that the world just seems like one giant crazy piece of rotating dirt. Like a burger in a hotdog bun. Like putting an ice cube in a nice hot caramel latte.

See you tomorrow.
